Functionality and Workflow
DVR+ software enables providers to use their preferred digital recorder device to create patient narratives for conversion to transcripts via the word processing module of the TA+ platform. Voice files are encrypted and both dictating and listening activities are logged for HIPAA. DVR+ is compatible with all brands of digital recorders that provide dss files including Philips, Olympus and Sony.
Special Features
DVR+ allows multiple providers to use the same recorder unit if the recorder includes multiple folders so that each provider’s dictations are saved in his/her own folder. When docking at a PC, the DVR+ screen displays Upload in Process or Download Complete. An archive folder on the PC stores the encrypted voice files for 30 days. When sending the files to a TA+ server environment, the software uses SSL encryption and eliminates the need for a VPN or mapped drives.
Security
DVR+ encrypts all data with SSL encryption for HIPAA.
